Quirang
Basalt escarpments of Quirang, on the Isle of Skye.
Looking along the cliffs of Meall na Suiramach to Leac nan Fionn (the prominent ridge) and beyond to Staffin Bay.
This dramatic landscape was formed by a huge landslide millions of years ago that ran the full length of the Trotternish peninsula. Photographed at Trotternish, Isle of Skye, Scotland, in February.
Location: Isle of Skye, Scotland.
